This inmense Patagonic Lake with a calculated surface of 450 Km² and a profundity of 40 a 50 meters, make together the Colhue Huapi Lake, the lacustrin basin ubicated at 45°30' south latitude y 60° west longitude, the two mirrors of water receives water from Senguerr River coming from Fontana Lake (in the Andes Cordillera), it`s high over the nivel of sea is 271 meters.

All the lacustrin System has a abundant poblation of different fish, with autochthonous species as the Patagonic Pejerrey, perca and bagre or exotics as the trucha (with excellent quality and size).
