Origin of the Creole breed
Con la llegada de don Pedro de Mendoza en 1535, (primera fundación
de Bs. As.). Un buen número de equinos de origen andaluz son introducidos
en esta parte de América.
Con el frustrado asentamiento, muchos de aquellos animales fueron abandonados,
convirtiéndose en cimarrones. Pasaron tres siglos multiplicándose
y extendiéndose por el territorio.
Whit the arrival of Mr. Pedro de Mendoza in 1535, (first foundation
of Bs. As.) A good number of equines of andaluz origin are introduced
in this part of America.
Whit the fustrated settlement, more of these animals were abandoned,
convert it in cimarrones. Passed three centuries multiplicated and extend
it for the territory.
Its give in to the nature and resisting bad weather conditions
arrived to this Patagonia survived the colts most appropriate.
Whit the introduction of animals of others breeds and as consequence
of the crossbreed, the original Creole was lost in the north centre
of the country.
The doctor Emilio Solanet, graduated of the Faculty of agronomy and
veterinary. Great impulsor, he studies the characteristics of these
animals, he makes the firsts biologics studies and he come to the conclusion
of that in Patagonia were specimens without any crossbreed, and whit
own characteristics.
He travels in beginning of the xx century, to the south of the province
of Chubut in search of give continuing to this noble breed. In Sarmiento
and together of outstanding
resident Mr. Adan, great connoisseur of the zone and lover of the horses,
travel the region, acquiring horses in the zones of Senguer, Buen Pasto
and surroundings area of Musters Lake.
They was moving and concentrated in farm "El Relincho" (Sarmiento),
property of Adán García. And then transported urged to
"El Cardal" (Ayacucho, province of Bs. As.), site where the
doctor Emilio Solanet lay the definitive foundations of the denominated
"Argentinean Creole Breed".

Tschiffely request to Solanet two tame saddle horses to carry sthg through

deed culminated the September 22 of 1928 to enter to New York for the
